Don Bartolo : 100 Years Young
The heart of MANOS lies in the artists themselves, each a native to their region and a master of their craft.
We don’t work with production houses or large-scale factories. Instead, we partner with local workshops steeped in tradition and heritage.
The ANANAS brand, for example, is represented by Don Bartolo, a 100-year-old artisan who has been handcrafting since his youth. Now, he passes down the art of clay molding and clay pineapple creation to his village, with others traveling to learn from him and celebrate his elite handicrafts. In Spanish, the title "Don" expresses reverence and respect—a reflection of the deep admiration we all hold for these remarkable artisans.
